Worker's Compensation Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Worker’s Compensation Attorney to join their team in Baltimore, MD. Key Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation cases and employer liability claims.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding Maryland and Pennsylvania workers' compensation laws and regulations.
• Manage a high volume of cases, ensuring timely and effective case management.
• Attend and represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and prepare cases for trial when necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide legal support.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation and employer liability law.
• Admitted to practice law in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
• Strong understanding of Maryland and Pennsylvania workers' compensation laws and regulations.
• Experience with employer liability claims is a plus.
• Licensure in additional jurisdictions is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
