Junior Attorney Personal Injury

A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Attorney to join their growing personal injury team in Los Angeles. This position offers significant growth opportunities within a high-volume practice. The ideal candidate will have prior experience handling personal injury cases and possess strong communication and case management skills. This role provides the chance to work on complex cases and collaborate with a dedicated team.

Duties

• Manage multiple personal injury cases from intake through settlement.
• Supervise and collaborate with Case Managers and Legal Assistants to ensure smooth case progression.
• Assess liability and damages in personal injury claims.
• Work closely with Property Damage, Case Management, Demands/Negotiation, and Liens departments.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and excellent client service.
• Review case facts and work to clear coverage issues and establish liability.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings and settlement demands.

Requirements

• 6 months to 2 years of experience handling personal injury cases from inception to settlement.
• Strong knowledge of California state laws, regulations, and legal procedures related to personal injury law.
• Active member in good standing with the California Bar Association.
• Ability to manage a large caseload and handle high-value cases.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess liability and damages.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California (Active status with the California Bar).
