Family Law Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join its team in San Antonio, TX. This hybrid position is ideal for attorneys with over two years of experience in family law who are eager to manage cases from inception to resolution while enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Duties

• Proactively oversee family law cases from start to finish, ensuring all aspects are addressed.
• Deliver exceptional client service by providing regular status updates, including monthly reports and weekly case reviews.
• Collaborate with practice managers to recommend improvements in workflows and processes.
• Utilize practice quality software to monitor performance metrics, tracking accomplishments and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas for a minimum of 2 years.
• Strong research and writing capabilities.
• Experience conducting hearings and representing clients in court.
• Proficiency in mediation and a keen interest in consulting with clients.
• Highly organized with a proactive and motivated approach to case management.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Texas State Bar.

Skills

• Familiarity with legal research tools, including Westlaw, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with Clio or similar case management software is preferred but not required.
• Ability to draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents effectively.
• Flexibility to work remotely when necessary.
