Job Overview: A well-established and mid-sized law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its growing team in Nashua, NH. This position offers the opportunity to work with an experienced family law team while also providing the potential for involvement in other practice areas if desired. The firm offers a flexible work environment, including the option for remote work. This role is ideal for an attorney with at least two years of experience in family law.

Location:

Duties:

  • Provide legal representation in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and spousal support matters
  • Draft and file legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and agreements
  • Advise clients on legal matters, ensuring clear and effective communication
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop case strategies
  • Manage a caseload, meeting deadlines and ensuring timely resolution of cases
  • Opportunity to work in other practice areas if desired

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in family law (Preferred)
  • Admission to practice law in New Hampshire (Required)
  • Admission to practice law in Massachusetts (Preferred)
  • Ability to handle family law cases from start to finish
  • Excellent legal writing and research skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (Required)

Certifications:

  • Active Bar license in New Hampshire (Required)
  • Active Bar license in Massachusetts (Preferred)

Skills:

  • Expertise in family law, including divorce, custody, and support cases
  • Proficient in legal document drafting and court procedures
