Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, seeks a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm, with expertise in product liability and complex commercial litigation, particularly within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. This role involves managing cases from inception through trial, collaborating with partners, and contributing to case strategy and development.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates as needed.
  • Collaborate with experts and consultants on case strategy and preparation.
  • Assist in fact development and conduct depositions.
  • Review, draft, and prepare discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Help formulate and execute case strategy alongside senior attorneys.
  • Maintain timely and accurate work product to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Adhere to firm policies and practices, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities typical of legal practice.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized schools.
  • Experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
