Job Title: Entry-Level Litigation Attorney

Job Location: Tampa, FL (Remote)

Job Overview: A dynamic and rapidly growing law firm is seeking an entry-level attorney to join their team. The firm focuses on representing clients across Florida in various types of business disputes, including contract cases, business torts, real estate litigation, construction-related issues, and intellectual property matters such as copyright and trademark disputes. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious attorney to gain experience and develop their legal career in a fast-paced, fully remote work environment.

Duties:

• Draft legal documents such as letters, memos, motions, orders, pleadings, etc.
• Assist senior attorneys by preparing for upcoming hearings and proceedings
• Manage case files and deadlines to ensure smooth progression of cases
• Coordinate discovery efforts with paralegals and legal support teams
• Conduct legal research on various topics as needed for case preparation and strategy

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience as a litigation associate
• Must have achieved an "A" or top marks in legal research and writing during law school
• Proactive, highly organized, and motivated with attention to detail
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess strong communication skills and be able to manage deadlines effectively
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, and Microsoft Office tools
• Familiarity with Clio (a plus)
• Must have a strong internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free home office setup

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must have graduated at least cum laude and within the top 25% of the law school class

Certifications:

• An active Bar license in Florida required

• Strong legal writing and research skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledgeable in legal procedures and case management
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
