This role involves managing significant real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings, within an investment fund context. Familiarity with securities offerings is a plus.

Duties

  • Oversee and manage real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate documents related to real estate investments.
  • Conduct research to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support operational needs within the investment funds group.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, legal professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Produce accurate, high-quality work within established deadlines.
  • Build and maintain positive work relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Adapt to hybrid work environments, participating in virtual meetings and other related tasks as required.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the role and team objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, particularly with acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Familiarity with securities offerings is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build professional relationships and influence others effectively.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction is required.
