Duties:

  • Draft and prosecute patent applications in various technology fields.
  • Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
  • Counsel clients on intellectual property matters, including patent portfolio management and licensing agreements.
  • Assist in intellectual property litigation matters as needed.
  • Conducted legal research and provided support to senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience representing clients in intellectual property transactions.
  • California bar admission.
  • Admission to practice before the USPTO.
  • Strong academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top law school.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in patent prosecution and/or intellectual property litigation is preferred.
