A law firm seeks an experienced Plaintiff Attorney to join its team, specializing in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, child injury, birth injury, and commercial vehicle accident cases. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys at all levels of experience, with no geographic restrictions, offering a flexible work environment. The role is remote, with the occasional in-person appearance required, providing flexibility while handling high-impact legal cases.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, child injury, birth injury, and commercial vehicle accidents.
  • Manage case preparation, including gathering evidence, conducting depositions, and overseeing discovery.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients in court hearings and trial proceedings.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their interests are protected.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and assist with mentoring junior attorneys when needed.
  • Attend virtual meetings, depositions, and hearings via platforms such as Zoom or Teams, with occasional in-person appearances.
  • Manage caseloads and ensure deadlines are met efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Active admission to the bar in at least one state.
  • Proven experience in handling catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering the best legal representation.
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for clients.
  • Experience in legal technology and practice management tools is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to the bar in at least one state.

Skills:

  • Strong writing and oral advocacy abilities.
  • Proficiency with legal technology, case management software, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage demanding caseloads.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to take direction as well as show initiative.
