Duties:

  • Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, including handling trials, hearings, and mediations.
  • Draft and file legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide counsel to clients on employment matters, including compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and client communication is maintained.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and strategy development.
  • Represent employers in administrative matters, such as EEOC proceedings and wage-and-hour disputes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Significant experience in litigation, including trial and mediation experience.
  • Strong academic credentials and legal research skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Georgia Bar membership is required.
