Location:

Duties:

  • Independently manage a caseload of medical malpractice and personal injury cases.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, and draft pleadings and motions.
  • Prepare for and attend trials, including trial preparation and presenting cases.
  • Review and analyze medical records to support case strategies.
  • Report on case progress and status periodically to senior management.
  • Utilize technology and case management software to maintain organized case files.
  • Ensure the highest standards of integrity and ethics in legal practices.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required (or New Hampshire Bar).
  • Proven experience in medical malpractice law is required.
  • Personal injury experience is a plus.
  • Experience in civil actions, including trial preparation, depositions, and motion practice.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, case management software, and e-filing systems.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in MA or NH required.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and trial preparation skills.
  • Expertise in reviewing and analyzing medical records.
  • Proficient in using case management software and e-filing systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
