Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: An established multi-state law firm specializing in legal recoveries is seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to support its South Carolina office. This remote role focuses on representing clients in the western region of South Carolina and offers a salary with commission potential. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational skills, familiarity with civil procedures, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume litigation environment.

Location:

• Greenville, SC

Duties:

• Negotiate resolutions for pending litigation cases
• Conduct motion practice, review, and draft pleadings and discovery documents
• Attend court appearances and execute legal documents as required
• Manage case calendars and timelines for high-volume litigation
• Interact professionally with staff, opposing counsel, and the courts

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina Bar License, in good standing
• Minimum of one year of civil litigation experience
• Ability to work independently while managing a large caseload
• Collection experience preferred but not required (training available)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina

Skills:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general technology use
• Familiarity with courtroom and civil procedures
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
