Job Details:

  • Provide legal support and expertise in family law, personal injury, business, and landlord/tenant matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research on various topics relevant to cases.
  • Draft legal documents including contracts, agreements, briefs, and pleadings with precision and attention to detail.
  • Appear for court proceedings, hearings, and emergency matters as required.
  • Assist in negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Provide administrative support for legal tasks and maintain accurate case files.
  • Participate in client meetings and communicate case progress effectively.
  • Work on a diverse range of cases requiring strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Maryland State Bar; admission to the District of Columbia Bar is a plus.
  • Proven experience in legal drafting, research, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with family law, personal injury, business, and landlord/tenant practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to write clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
