Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Corporate/M&A Practice Group in Cleveland. Duties:

• Negotiate and draft primary and ancillary documents for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and loan transactions.
• Conduct M&A due diligence for both targets and acquirers.
• Provide expertise in transaction and entity structuring, including related tax matters.
• Maintain superior communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Manage organizational tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in corporate/M&A law.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general corporate law.
• Proven track record in leading M&A due diligence processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active law license in Ohio (Missouri law license is a plus).
