Job Overview:
A law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an ambitious Attorney to join their Property Insurance Defense team. This role offers the opportunity to develop litigation and motion practice skills, working with one of the top First-Party Property Divisions in the state. The position is based at the firm’s beautiful Fort Lauderdale headquarters.

Duties:

• Handle property insurance defense cases from start to finish.
• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and correspondence in a timely and organized manner.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Prior experience in property insurance defense is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Skills:
