A law firm seeks a skilled and dedicated Estate Planning Attorney to join its growing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with 3-5 years of experience to develop tailored estate planning solutions for families. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in advising clients, crafting estate plans, and overseeing the administration of estates. Duties:

  • Draft customized estate plans, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney to meet clients' specific needs.
  • Consult with clients in clear, accessible language to understand their objectives and provide expert guidance on the best estate planning strategies.
  • Work closely with paralegals and support staff to deliver exceptional service to clients, ensuring smooth case management.
  • Design comprehensive, detailed estate plans to address clients' financial and personal goals.
  • Supervise and guide paralegals in managing a high volume of estate administration files.
  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients.
  • Attend and actively participate in networking events, and occasionally lead seminars or webinars to enhance the firm’s visibility and client outreach.

Requirements:

  • Active licensure in North and/or South Carolina.
  • 3-5 years of experience practicing law, with at least 1-2 years focused on Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, and Estate Administration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and effectively communicate with clients.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize relevant estate planning software and client management tools.
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal matters while ensuring exceptional service to clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in North and/or South Carolina.

Skills:

  • Expertise in estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with relevant estate planning software and legal tools.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing intricate legal documents and cases.
