Duties:

  • Advise clients on practical, tax-efficient solutions for estate planning, including business succession planning
  • Lead client meetings, set clear expectations, and maintain strong client relationships
  • Oversee the work of junior associates and staff, ensuring high-quality performance and meeting project deadlines
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents with precision
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to help them grow professionally
  • Identify and implement innovative practices to improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with outside advisors, clients, and referral sources to enhance service delivery

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in estate planning or corporate/business transactional law
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and mentorship
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to absorb and analyze complex information and provide actionable recommendations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Admission to the Tennessee Bar

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • LLM, CPA, or other tax-related qualifications preferred.
