Duties:

  • Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and other professionals to gather necessary information for patent application preparation.
  • Analyze and respond to office actions, rejections, and other communications from the USPTO.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in Chemistry.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Education:

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Chemistry.

Certifications:

  • Patent Agent registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is preferred..

Skills:

  • Proficient in conducting prior art searches and analyzing technical literature.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceuticals, synthetic methods, and polymer science.
