A law firm in Saint Louis, MI is seeking a Mid-level Financial Services Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, experience in preparing for and participating in FINRA arbitrations and securities regulation matters, and possess exceptional research and writing skills.

 

Duties:

  • Prepare for and participate in FINRA arbitrations and securities regulation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to financial services litigation issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in litigation matters.
  • Assist with trial preparation and support as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Michigan or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 3+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on financial services litigation.
  • Strong understanding of FINRA regulations and securities laws.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:
