    • Independently manage a docket of personal injury cases, ensuring timely progression and resolution.
  • Client Advocacy:

    • Provide legal representation, including negotiating settlements and presenting cases in a compelling manner to adjusters and other involved parties.
  • Claims & Documentation:

    • Set up claims, track medical treatment, and manage related documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Supervision & Teamwork:

    • Oversee the work of medical clerks and case managers, ensuring smooth operation and client-focused service.
  • Negotiation & Settlement:

    • Negotiate with insurance adjusters, communicate offers to clients, and manage the disbursement of client funds.
  • Analysis & Strategy:

    • Provide immediate analysis of liability, damages, and the steps needed to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law, with a proven track record of managing cases independently.
  • Skills:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal issues clearly to clients and adjusters.
    • Excellent negotiation and analytical abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • License:

    • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
  • Independence & Initiative:

    • Must demonstrate the ability to manage a caseload independently, with minimal supervision, and proactively move cases forward.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership with the State Bar of Texas.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously, maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy.
