Litigation Attorney Plaintiff Injury Toxic Tort Product Defect

Job Overview:
A well-regarded law firm in Southern California is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its team. The firm specializes in representing individuals who have suffered injuries or loss due to environmental toxins, burn injuries, auto accidents, defective products, and wrongful death. Duties:

• Manage cases involving environmental toxins, toxic torts, product defects, personal injury, and insurance coverage.
• Handle all aspects of litigation including depositions, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Work directly with clients and maintain communication regarding case developments.
• Draft legal documents such as demand letters, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and help prepare cases for trial (trial experience not required, but encouraged).
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to strategize and ensure the best outcome for clients.
• Take on immediate responsibility for case handling and trial work.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience (post-bar exam).
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience with toxic torts, product liability, personal injury, or environmental law is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Willingness to take responsibility for cases and handle client relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
