Job Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide timely, accurate, top-tier work products aligned with firm standards.
  • Meet deadlines, manage expectations, and perform assigned duties diligently.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with the firm and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all firm policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, virtual conference calls, and necessary meetings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.
  • Proven track record in handling transactions related to financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies.
  • Experience in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters is essential.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sound business judgment and exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including conveying complex legal issues clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficient research and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with conceptual thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and manage tasks effectively.
  • Admitted to practice law in Washington, DC.
