Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in workers' compensation cases.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
  • Negotiate on behalf of clients in pre-litigation and litigation settings.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation preparation, including discovery processes.
  • Obtain and review medical records related to workers' compensation claims.
  • Prepare expert and lay witnesses for testimony in court.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Colorado.
  • Proven experience in legal research, writing, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing workers' compensation.
  • Experience with drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with case management software is a plus.

Certifications:

  • Active bar license in the state of Colorado.
