Duties:

  • Structure, negotiate, and draft a wide variety of commercial agreements

  • Provide legal support for entity formation, restructuring, and governance matters

  • Oversee legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and business sales

  • Advise clients on day-to-day business operations and regulatory compliance

  • Manage transactions involving commercial real estate, including purchases, sales, and leases

  • Support internal teams with risk assessment and strategic planning

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues on client matters and legal strategy

  • Maintain high-quality service standards while balancing multiple client demands

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of legal practice focused on business and corporate transactions

  • Direct experience in commercial real estate transactions

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and client advisory skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload effectively

  • Experience in intellectual property and trademark matters is a plus but not essential

  • Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California

  • Must be available to work full-time from the Salinas office

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:
