Job Overview

A distinguished law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 1-4 years of complex litigation experience to join its Tort Group in St. Louis. Duties

• Handle complex litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies

• Participate in discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document review

• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies

• Engage in client interactions and provide legal counsel

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in complex litigation

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment

• Federal court experience or other complex litigation experience preferred

• Self-starter with a proactive approach to case management

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials required

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri
