Duties and Responsibilities

  • Appear at various WC Appeals Boards and handle hearings, trials, and appeals.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including motions, briefs, and case filings.
  • Develop and implement case strategies, including evaluating evidence and formulating legal arguments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case files, ensuring compliance with WCAB rules and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Provide guidance and legal advice to clients on workers' compensation claims and defense strategies.

Requirements

  • 2-10 years of litigation experience handling California workers' compensation claims.
  • Active State Bar license and member in good standing with the California Bar.
  • Strong familiarity with California WCAB rules and procedures.
