Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Commercial Litigation practice in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in litigation, a strong academic background, and excellent interpersonal skills. Duties:

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters, including construction disputes and government contracts.
• Assist with administrative dispute resolution related to construction and infrastructure.
• Manage a variety of cases from inception through resolution, including legal research, drafting motions, and preparing documents.
• Collaborate with team members and manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, providing strategic legal advice and updates on case progress.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and high-quality work under pressure.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth by actively participating in business development and client outreach.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong writing ability.
• Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
