A law firm specializing in personal injury cases is seeking a Workers Compensation Attorney to join their team across multiple locations in Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law, demonstrating the ability to manage cases efficiently while providing exceptional client service. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated legal team, ensuring clients receive the best possible representation.

Location:

  • Valdosta, GA

Duties:

  • Open new client files and establish initial contact, maintaining regular communication throughout the case
  • Fully investigate each case by gathering and analyzing relevant documents and intake information
  • Enter pertinent data into the firm’s case management system
  • Verify insurance coverage and address liability issues, maintaining contact with insurance companies
  • Manage client medical care by scheduling appointments and communicating with medical providers
  • Monitor case status and regularly review medical records
  • Organize and maintain case files for submission to demand writers
  • Ensure continuous communication with clients, medical professionals, and insurance companies to resolve claims efficiently

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Workers Compensation law
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with clients, field associates, and vendors
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficient in handling high-volume phone calls
  • Consistent attendance, reliability, and integrity
  • Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology (preferred)
  • Spanish-speaking ability (a plus)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited university
  • GA Bar Admission (Required)

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Georgia State Bar
