A law firm seeks three licensed Virginia Associate Attorneys to join their Civil Litigation and Workers' Compensation Practice Group in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidates will be highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently, and possess strong client service skills. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team of experienced trial attorneys, handling complex cases in both state and federal courts.

Duties

  • Assist in managing a variety of civil litigation and workers' compensation cases.
  • Represent clients in both state and federal courts.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs, motions, and other documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client representation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the legal process.
  • Prioritize and manage a diverse caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in Virginia (Bar membership required).
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation or workers' compensation law.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional client relationships.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Virginia State Bar.
