Associate Attorney needed for New York City office

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with a focus on Immigration law, along with experience in Criminal, Matrimonial, and Family law. Duties:

• Represent clients in court before USCIS, EOIR, New York Family Court, New York Criminal Court, ICE, and CBP.
• Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents before the courts.
• Conduct client meetings and consultations.
• Manage a high caseload involving Immigration, Criminal, and Family law cases.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to provide effective legal solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Immigration law.
• Admitted to the New York State Bar for at least 3 years.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (required).
• Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple cases.
• Exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to appear in court regularly and interact with clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active attorney license in New York (required).

Skills:
