Duties

• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies for general liability cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court, managing all aspects of trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, conferences, and other litigation-related activities.
• Collaborate with medical experts and conduct legal and medical research to support cases.
• Engage in active client interaction, providing strategic advice and ensuring client confidence.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or related general liability defense.
• Familiarity with New York Labor Law is advantageous.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Certifications
