Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an associate or counsel with 3-6 years of experience in telecommunications, media, and technology law. Location:

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel in the areas of telecommunications, media, and technology.
  • Advise clients on regulatory, policy, and transactional matters related to wireless, broadband funding, satellite, uncrewed aircraft, connected vehicles, broadcast, towers, and data centers.
  • Manage and coordinate complex legal matters across multiple sectors of the communications industry.
  • Draft and negotiate legal documents, agreements, and filings.
  • Assist with policy analysis and strategy development in relation to communications law and regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to provide effective legal solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in telecommunications, media, or technology law.
  • Regulatory, policy, and transactional experience in one or more of the following: wireless, broadband funding, satellite, uncrewed aircraft, connected vehicles, broadcast, towers, and data centers.
  • Former government service is a plus.
  • Stellar academic credentials.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state where the position is located.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of telecommunications, media, and technology law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
