Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its tax controversy and tax litigation practice. The successful candidate will be involved in responding to grand jury subpoenas and other formal document requests, as well as supporting court appearances and trial preparations. This position provides an opportunity to work on cases in federal courts nationwide, including the United States Tax Court and the Court of Federal Claims.

Duties:

• Respond to grand jury subpoenas and formal document requests.
• Conduct legal research and assist with writing tasks.
• Appear in court and prepare for trial.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation and eDiscovery experience, preferably in a large law firm setting.
• Strong understanding of tax law and procedures.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
