Mid-level Fund Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A distinguished law firm’s Finance & Restructuring practice group is actively seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its Fund Finance team. This role is tailored for candidates with 4-6 years of transactional legal experience, ideally with a background in finance law.

Duties

• Manage and support a variety of fund finance transactions within the Finance & Restructuring team.
• Draft, negotiate, and review complex finance-related agreements and transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research to provide strategic insights and support for finance transactions.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, offering guidance and updates on fund finance matters.
• Ensure all finance transactions adhere to legal standards and best practices.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in transactional law, preferably with a focus on finance law.
• Strong academic credentials with demonstrated research and analytical skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing in the candidate’s state of residence.

The Chicago office is focused on insurance coverage litigation and counseling for clients in Chicago and the Midwest. The lawyers of this small office seem to truly enjoy working together.
