Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic team in Henderson, NV. This full-time, remote-eligible role focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation, particularly in the areas of patent, trademark, and copyright law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal court litigation, with a focus on IP-related cases, and a passion for mentoring junior attorneys while providing high-level legal expertise in complex matters.

Duties:

• Serve as lead attorney on assigned litigation cases, managing all aspects of case preparation and representation.
• Mentor junior attorneys and guide legal strategies and professional development.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and positions.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
• Oversee case management, ensuring timely preparation for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Review and analyze legal filings, evidence, and documents to build compelling cases.
• Represent clients during court hearings, depositions, trials, and other necessary legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and arguments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and all parties involved in the litigation process.
• Maintain organized case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to practice law in at least one state (Nevada State Bar admission is preferred but not required).
• 7-10 years of litigation experience
• a strong focus on intellectual property law (patent, trademark, copyright).
• Proven trial experience, with the ability to handle complex cases in federal court.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
• Commitment to providing exceptional legal representation to clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in at least one state (Nevada State Bar preferred).
