Insurance Attorney

A law firm in Chicago is seeking an Insurance Attorney with 3-4 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies, along with excellent academic credentials and superior research and writing ability.

Duties:

• Analyze insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors' and officers' insurance policies.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding insurance coverage matters.
• Conduct legal research on insurance law and related regulations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for insurance-related cases.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and case law in insurance coverage.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Superior research and writing ability.
• Admission to the State Bar.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
