Associate Attorney needed for Purchase office

Location:

Duties:

• Manage an individual caseload under the guidance of partners.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and responses to discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and draft memorandums.
• Attend hearings, court conferences, and mediations as needed.
• Conduct and defend depositions and attend inspections.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants on case strategy.
• Prepare for trial and actively participate in trial proceedings.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in general liability defense.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• Admission to the Connecticut Bar is a plus but not mandatory.

Skills:
