Job Overview: A law firm specializing in finance law seeks a skilled Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join the team. This position offers an opportunity to work on internationally recognized matters, particularly novel financing deals in the energy transition space.

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned work products.
  • Manage deadlines, expectations, and perform duties with a high level of professionalism.
  • Foster positive relationships within the firm and with external partners.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required, including extended computer work and participation in virtual meetings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • 3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.
  • Experience handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies.
  • Proven experience in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good business judgment and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Research and problem-solving abilities, with conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to influence others and persuasive communication skills.
  • Management skills for handling complex projects and tasks.

Certifications and Skills:

  • Admitted to practice law in Texas.
