Job Overview:

The Transactions Associate Attorney will play a vital role in handling various legal transactions, primarily focusing on real estate law. They should possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, motivated, and proactive, with superior research and writing abilities.

 

Duties:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis related to real estate transactions
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
  • Advising clients on real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing
  • Assisting with due diligence investigations and title examinations
  • Negotiating terms and resolving disputes related to real estate transactions
  • Collaborating with clients, colleagues, and external parties to facilitate smooth transactions

 

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Michigan
  • 3+ years of experience in real estate law
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Highly organized, motivated, and proactive
  • Superior research and writing skills

 

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
