Duties

  • Conduct investigations related to Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, or civil rights and criminal laws addressing harassment, discrimination, and abuse.
  • Assist institutions or governmental agencies in implementing trauma-informed, fair, and impartial prevention and resolution processes.
  • Develop comprehensive written policies, procedures, and educational materials related to regulatory compliance.
  • Advise organizations on regulatory requirements, including Title IX, the Clery Act, and child protection frameworks.
  • Provide strategic guidance on safety, compliance, and governance issues.
  • Work closely with educational institutions, corporations, hospitals, and nonprofit organizations to design and implement effective response systems.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Title IX, civil rights compliance, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated skills in conducting trauma-informed investigations and resolution processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Leadership experience and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • An active Bar license in Colorado is mandatory.
