An established and growing law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join their team in Danbury, Connecticut. This role presents an opportunity for a recent law school graduate or early-career attorney to gain valuable experience in personal injury law, focusing on mass torts and pre-litigation personal injury cases. The successful candidate will be trained in basic litigation and civil practice while making a meaningful impact on clients' lives.

Duties

  • Handle case intake, including mass torts and personal injury cases
  • Manage cases from inception through to closure
  • Efficiently meet and retain clients
  • Communicate effectively with insurance representatives
  • Assist with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, pre-trials, and settlement conferences
  • Conduct legal research and prepare clients for depositions and independent medical examinations (IMEs)
  • Provide exceptional client service, maintaining high standards of professionalism

Requirements

  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar (required)
  • Admission to the New York Bar (preferred)
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and accomplishment-driven
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese (preferred)
  • Strong desire to help others and provide excellent legal support

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Valid Bar license in Connecticut (required)
  • New York Bar license (preferred)
