A law firm in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an Insurance and Reinsurance Career Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. Excellent academic credentials and superior research and writing abilities are required for this role.

Duties:

  • Provide expert legal advice on insurance coverage matters, focusing on professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
  • Analyze and interpret complex insurance policies and coverage issues to advise clients on their rights and obligations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate insurance-related agreements, including policies, contracts, and regulatory documents.
  • Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation, managing cases through arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings.
  • Prepare and present legal motions, briefs, and other critical documentation in litigation and regulatory matters.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and deliver detailed analyses on insurance and reinsurance issues.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for case management to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients, insurance professionals, and internal teams to address and resolve insurance claims and coverage challenges.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and legal trends affecting insurance law.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
  • 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
  • Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
