Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Probate Attorney to join their team in Davie, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in probate law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can handle complex legal matters with precision and care.

Duties:

  • Manage probate and guardianship cases from inception to completion.
  • Communicate frequently with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Draft legal documents related to probate and guardianship cases.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including probate and guardianship hearings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Prepare and draft estate planning documents.
  • Adhere to court rules, filing procedures (including e-filing), and law office procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions and case handling.
  • Manage a high volume of time-sensitive workflows effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in probate law.
  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.
  • Strong legal drafting experience, specifically for probate and guardianship cases.
  • Litigation experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office-based computer programs.
  • Experience with Wealth Counsel and Clio is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
