Job Overview:

A law firm in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury law, handling complex cases involving serious injuries and wrongful death. This role involves managing cases from the initial consultation through trial and appeal if necessary, ensuring effective legal representation and advocacy for clients.

Location:

Duties:

• Provide legal representation in personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, slip and fall incidents, and wrongful death claims.
• Manage all phases of pre-litigation and litigation, including drafting legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct depositions and prepare for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis, staying informed of relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing personal injury law.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
• Strong litigation skills with experience in all phases of the litigation process (trial experience preferred but not required).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Client-focused with a dedication to providing high-quality legal representation.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
