Associate Attorney - Litigation

A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its growing personal injury and mass tort practice in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of litigation experience and a passion for representing clients in complex cases, including mass torts, class actions, and environmental torts.

Duties:

• Manage all phases of litigation, from client intake to trial preparation.
• Support lead attorneys in handling a diverse docket of cases.
• Utilize technology and case management software to enhance client representation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft compelling legal documents.
• Maintain adherence to data integrity standards in all case management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Foster positive working relationships within the firm and with external parties.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle a high volume of cases.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Ohio.
