Duties

  • Represent public school districts and other educational institutions in legal matters.

  • Provide legal support in administrative law, real estate, and construction matters.
  • Address business issues and student-related legal concerns, including civil rights, constitutional law, and disability law.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in public speaking engagements and provide training to clients.

  • Attend meetings, hearings, and court proceedings as required.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of New Mexico.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an attorney.

  • Public speaking experience is preferred.
