Job Overview: A leading law firm is seeking an experienced securities lawyer with over 6 years of expertise in managing structured securities offerings for its Investment Funds Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate law, including real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The role involves representing various public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in a range of transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and the development of commercial real estate. This is a multi-office opportunity, with flexibility for candidates to work from several U.S. locations.

Location:

  • Wilmington, DE

Duties:

  • Represent clients in securities offerings, acquisitions, financings, and other real estate transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel on complex real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage high-profile investment transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents related to commercial real estate.
  • Lead client meetings and ensure clear communication of legal matters.
  • Manage a diverse caseload and provide strategic advice on complex issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in securities law, with a focus on structured securities offerings.
  • Experience in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions is essential.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate law.
  • Ability to manage large and complex transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which the position is based.
