Intake Attorney

A law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced Intake Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the Supervising Intake Attorney, manage their own caseload, and interact with clients. This role involves reviewing potential cases, suggesting legal strategies, and working closely with the Immigration Team and other support staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Report to the Supervising Intake Attorney and manage an individual caseload, including client interactions.
• Monitor the firm's case management software to vet live cases and track progress.
• Review intake sheets and documents submitted by potential clients.
• Identify potential immigration relief options for prospective clients.
• Suggest legal strategies and propose services tailored to potential clients' needs.
• Speak with existing clients to discuss potential services outside their current contracts.
• Answer legal questions from potential and existing clients and explain legal processes.
• Communicate with and provide feedback to the sales team regarding client interactions.
• Oversee and manage intake paralegals and virtual assistants.
• Be a collaborative team player, open to helping, strategizing, and working with fellow associates.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
• Exhibit interpersonal skills of the highest caliber and demonstrate an ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar association.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in Immigration Law.
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR matters, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
• Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and move legal cases forward effectively.
