Demands/Litigation Associate Attorney

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Manage a significant caseload, ensuring cases are progressing efficiently.

• Draft and file pleadings, notices, and other documents with the court.

• Track important deadlines, including statutes of limitations and service of process.

• Review and analyze court documents and other legal paperwork.

• Attend court hearings as needed.

• Review and evaluate medical records, insurance correspondence, settlement releases, and other evidence to build strong cases.

• Collaborate with multiple departments, including Case Management, Demands, and Liens.

• Maintain communication with clients to guide them through the filing of their lawsuit and the settlement process.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admitted to the California Bar.

• 1-2 years of experience in Personal Injury preferred.

• Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to the California Bar.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and other team members.

• Proficient in legal document preparation and filing.

• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Spanish-speaking ability (preferred).
