Job Overview:
A law firm in Morristown, NJ is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join their growing team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior attorneys on various litigation and business matters, with a focus on providing aggressive representation for clients. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of litigation experience, along with strong research, writing, and motion practice skills.

Duties:

• Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and other case-related materials
• Manage discovery processes such as depositions, interrogatories, and document reviews
• Assist with the negotiation of settlements
• Conduct thorough legal research to support cases
• Represent clients in court when needed
• Engage in consultations with potential clients to assess case viability

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a proven track record in the field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• License to practice law in NJ and/or NY (NJ is a plus)
